«Современные записки»: жизнь в архивных документах
Изучение истории русского зарубежья представляется одной из самых актуальных задач современной
гуманитарной науки. В данном контексте особую роль играют публикации архивных материалов и введение
их в научный оборот. Статья посвящена анализу двухтомного сборника «“Современные записки” (Париж,
1920-1940). Из архива редакции», составленного О. Коростелевым и М. Шрубой, что является важным
шагом на пути освоения литературного и культурно-художественного наследия русской эмиграции «первой
волны». Рецензент отмечает четко продуманную структуру подачи материала читателю, высокую степень
информативности и научности отдельных вступительных статей, а также тщательный анализ особенностей
научного почерка публикаций, их мультидисциплинарность, комплексность, масштабность полета мысли,
интеллектуальную насыщенность и стилистическую отточенность. Автор приходит к выводу о том, что с
момента выхода рецензируемых книг ни одно полновесное исследование судеб русской эмиграции в Европе
1920-1930-х гг. не может обойтись без опоры на данные материалы.

«Modern notes»: a life in archive documents
Studying of the history of the Russian Diaspora is one of the most topical issues of the modern humanities. In
this context a special role is played by the publication of archival materials and their introduction into the scientific
turnover. The article analyzes the two-volume collection of «Modern notes» (Paris, 1920-1940). From the archives
of the editorial board», composed by O. Korostelev and M. Shruba, which is an important step in the development
of literary, cultural and artistic heritage of the Russian emigration of «the first wave». The reviewer notes the well
thought structure of presentation of the material to the reader, high level of the information value and the scientific
character of separate introductory articles, as well as a careful analysis of the peculiarities of the scientific style of
publications, their multidisciplinarity, complexity, the scale of the flight of thought, intellectual richness and stylistic
elegance. The author comes to the conclusion that with the release of books under review, no one full-fledged study
of the fate of the Russian emigration in Europe in 1920-1930-es cannot do without basing on these materials.
