Тема: Exploring the world through art.
Цель: Коммуникативно-познавательный метод как средство формирования
исследовательской деятельности учащихся.
Задачи: 1. Развитие речемыслительной деятельности у учеников.
2. Воспитание этических и эстетических ценностей у учащихся.
Речевой материал: Стихотворение “Leisure”.
Оснащение: Мультимедиа, доска, индивидуальные карточки.
Ход урока
1. Организационный момент.
Our lesson is devoted to exploring the world through art. We shall find out how to learn our
beautiful world according to your thoughts. You have prepared the presentations which we
shall discuss. The words in the cards will help you do it.

2. Представление учащимися презентаций.
The task is listen to your classmates and express your opinions.
Pupil 1: “Classical music l am fond of”.
Pupil 2: Ivasovsky and his pictures.
Pupil 3: Levitan- “Golden Autumn”.
Pupil 4: Styles of modern music.
Pupil 5: Vasnetzov and his masterpieces.
Discussing of the works:
Pupil 1: Music is associated with…
Pupil 2: Pictures make me think about…They are really…
Pupil 3: They contain (landscape, seascape, countryside, portrait).
Pupil 4: It influences my mind, emotions.
Pupil 5: It transforms my feelings and mood.
3. You will listen to Vivaldy’s composition “Seasons”. Guess what season it is. Write the
associations. What musical instruments are heard?

It is winter. It is snowing. Strong wind. Bells. Christmas. A stranger in the field. Trees are
covered with snow. Children are playing snowballs. It is frosty. It is foggy. Darkness. Magic
nature. A violin. A flute. A drum.
4. Read the poem “Leisure” and think of the main idea. What does it teach you?
Work in pairs, discuss it.
5. Let’s make the conclusion of the lesson.
Pupil 1: Now I know more about classical music.
Pupil 2: I can’t but enjoy impressive and magnificent paintings of Russian artists.
Pupil 3: The works of my friends are necessary for us.
Pupil 4: Exploring the world through art makes us educated persons.

6. Your home work is: make a literary translation of the poem “Leisure”.
