The subject of the article is a difference between two kinds of the lyric writing: the lyric poem and
the epigram. The author considers the structure of the art event in a lyric poem and an epigram, analyses
modes of the forming of the event structure and describes the specific features of an epigram as a special
type of an estimating statement, proceeding from its event structure.
