Annotation. The author develops the idea of market economy as a socio-economic system with its specific
institutions, norms, values, and relations that are beyond economic processes and relations in their narrow
sense. The interrelation of economy and ethics bases upon ethical imperatives, civil behaviour, social
responsibility, liberal values, democracy, and respect for human rights based on the principles of humanism and
justice. The geo-economic atlas is described in short as a multidimensional theoretical model of the world
economic.
